DJ Jim: Live Performances for Nightclubs, Major Events, and Stages
From the console to the stage: music first and foremost.
In addition to private events, my artistic journey develops in clubs.
It is there that musical sensitivity, technique and the ability to read the audience in real time are built.
Playing in a venue means only one thing: the music has to really work.
There are no scripts, there are no rigid schedules.
Just people who want to feel good and a track to build minute by minute.
The Art of Reading the Track: From the Club to the Square
Every venue has its own identity and every evening requires a precise musical direction.
My approach always starts with the quality of the music selection and mixing, fundamental elements for keeping the dance floor alive without interruption.
Versatility is one of the strengths:
- House music in its afro house, classic house, electronic variants
- reggaeton and Latin rhythms to heat up the night
- selected 70s-80s-90s revival
- modern edits and reworks to give a contemporary sound to even the greatest classics.
Whenever possible, I try to avoid the most obvious commercial music. I prefer to propose tracks that the audience doesn't expect, but that they end up recognizing and dancing to anyway.
This is often the best balance: everyone has fun and the dance floor remains full without the need to constantly chase requests.
When the direction is right, people stop asking for songs and simply start letting themselves be carried away.
In addition to DJ sets, some evenings can be enhanced with entertainment formulas designed specifically for venues.

It is so engaging that often even the venue owners end up participating.
Custom scratch cards
Customized versions for the venue that create curiosity and excitement during the evening.
Memory Booth
A photo booth that allows customers to take photos and videos to share.
A very "instagrammable" element that helps create interest and visibility for the venue on social media.
These tools do not replace music, but complement it when it is necessary to add extra value to the evening.
The highlight of evenings in clubs is the dinner show, where a DJ set is combined with the presence of other artists to create a complete spectacle.
I often collaborate with:

- Other artists such as percussionists, singers, and dancers.
Their performances, enhanced by LED costumes, sparkular effects, and stage presence, transform the evening into a true show.
DJs and other artists make the event memorable, and the music comes alive on stage, engaging everyone.
This format proved so effective that during Carnival 2026 in Melilli it led us to open for Eiffel 65, with a DJ set accompanied by a live violin that made an entire square dance.
From the smallest venue to the largest stages, the goal always remains the same: to bring a show tailored to the context.
We are ready for bigger events, discos and clubs, always maintaining the same approach: technique, music selection and the ability to read the audience.
Multigenre Mixing: A Musical Selection Without Borders
Every night has its own identity.
My job is to build it with method, musical sensitivity, and real-world experience on the dance floor.
The Experience from 2026 will be consolidated on Grand Stages, such as Melilli square for the Carnival.
Artistic growth also comes from the places where club music truly thrives.
The dream is to play in the most sought-after clubs, in places where artists have freedom of expression and, like every DJ's dream, Ibiza, bringing a style built over years of events, venues, and stages.

What's included?
With Eventindustry, the following is always included in the service:
- DJ/Presenter (DJ Carmelo "Jim Greco") who will take care of music and entertainment, based on your preferences.
- Audio set with two state-of-the-art 15" RCF active speakers, suitable for covering both indoor and outdoor events, for up to 200 people.
- Lighting set, which you can customize, ideal for all types of events.
- Console, 2 microphones, projector and screen (if specifically requested).
How long does the service take?
We don't charge by the hour, but by the day. For morning events, service generally starts at 12 PM and ends at 5/6 PM. In the evening, however, we cover hours from 8 PM to 2 AM.
For weddings, we usually arrive 2 hours earlier than for other private parties, as the arrival time is generally earlier than for guests at other events: we will already have the perfect background music ready before your arrival!
Where are you arriving?
Our DJ and entertainment service is primarily aimed at Sicily.
We start from Biancavilla and cover the entire province of Catania, for which no travel costs apply. We also travel for events in the provinces of Messina, Enna, Siracusa, Ragusa, Caltanissetta, Agrigento, Palermo, and Trapani, with a travel cost.
If you love us very much, we can also travel outside the region, with a cost to be privately quoted.
Payments and down payments
You can pay for your event using various methods:
- Bank Transfer.
- Payment card enabled for online payments.
- Cash, on the day of the event.
To secure the date, a deposit of €50 is required. The balance can be paid on the day of the event.
SIAE and other formalities
SIAE deals with copyright and paying it is an obligation that falls on the organizer of the party (i.e., the birthday person or their representative).
When you call us, you're in safe hands because we have a SIAE license, and every event is registered with the necessary clearance to avoid any legal issues.
However, this does not exempt you from paying the mandatory SIAE fees for all events held in a public place. Only if you organize at your own home, even if there are 1000 of us, do you have no obligation. We have written an in-depth article on this matter.
For this reason, we (almost) take it for granted that you will pay the due fees when you choose us for your event.
